Artist's Statement

“Inspired by Philosopher Will Durant's (translation of Aristotle's) "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." Majestic Mountains represents the relentless climb to the top. That the long journey from mountain to mountain, no beautiful scene or obstacle will ever be the same.... and that once one reaches the peak, it is to realize that what matters more is the journey.
