Artist's Statement

“There is a rare peace found through a quiet observation. It is the moment when the freezing cold and the burning heat stop fighting and begin to dance…. A story of when elements appear to be total opposites, can live together in a single, textured heartbeat. “Fire and Ice” is a meditation on harmony — a place where the body becomes a silent witness to the elements as they rise, fall, and eventually find their home within us. A cool breath of blue of a calm mind. A heat of red of a burning heart. A golden light of the observer’s mind. True stillness is not the absence of feeling, but the quiet observation of it.”
