Artist's Statement
“Athena, the Olympian goddess of strategic warfare, wisdom and handicrafts, is often regarded as the wisest, most courageous and the most resourceful among the Olympian gods. In the book of The Iliad by Homer, Athena was a war goddess fighting alongside the Greek heroes. Ares and Athena were both given the spheres of war from Zeus. With the same greatest weapons, Athena leverages her intellect, skills and strategic warfare in combat, while Ares represented blood lust. This painting is a reminder of her great qualities –“courage in warfare, wisdom and great appreciation of arts” --------------------------------------------------- We are also active on Instagram | @Kotchakornstudio”
