Artist's Statement
“From the Greek mythology, Rhea is a daughter of Uranus (Heaven) and Gaia (Earth). The name Rhea means ease and as a goddess, she represents fruitfulness of home. In Greek sculptures, Rhea often depicts wearing turret crown and attended by the great lions.This painting is my interpretation of the beauty and grace of Rhea, who provides a warm home, colorful garden and is accompanied and protected by the great lion. ----------- We are also active Instagram | @Kotchakornstudio”
